AX 2009: Lantis to Offer Anime Songs On iTunes

Lantis announced that they will sell anime music in North America via iTunes. The company's first release will be a piece from JAM Project (Gravion, Scrapped Princess), which will hit in late July or early August. New songs will be added to the iTunes store every two to three weeks.

Lantis plans to offer songs from a number of artists, including the following:

  • Aya Hirano (Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
  • Ali Project (Noir, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion)
  • CooRie (The World of Narue, Daphne in the Brilliant Blue)
  • Minori Chihara (Samurai Gun, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
  • Yozuca (Girls Bravo, D.C. ~Da Capo~)

Geneon began distributing music via iTunes in January.
