FUNimation announced that they acquired the rights to Sengoku Basara. As of publication time, no details on the release were revealed.

Sengoku Basara is based on the PlayStation game Devil Kings by Capcom. The series was animated by Production I.G., and directed by Itsuro Kawasaki (Rental Magica, L/R: Licensed by Royalty). The series spans 12 episodes, and a second season was recently greenlit.
