801 Media announced that they acquired the domestic rights to Makoto Tateno's Yellow 2 manga. The first volume of Yellow 2, titled Yellow 2: Episode 1 will span 60 pages. The title has a tentative release window of October 2009. 801 Media hopes to have a limited number of copies of Episode 1 printed for this year's Yaoi-Con. Yellow 2 was originally serialized on Japanese mobile phones. The series never received a printed edition in Japan.

801 Media previously published the original Yellow between 2005 and 2006. The company plans to release the series across two omnibus editions, with each omnibus containing two volumes.
