Crunchyroll began streaming the first three episodes of Charger Girl Ju-den Chan earlier today. The broadcast was edited from the original version of the series that ran on Japan's AT-X network. The edited scenes included depictions of nudity and urination, which were obscured or removed altogether.

Crunchyroll acknowledged the edits, stating that they chose to air the censored version to "ensure the protection of... younger audiences and allow all audiences to watch and enjoy Charger Girl Jud-den Chan." They continued, stating that they worked closely with Avex Entertainment, Inc. to make the alterations, and that the edited version will be used when the series is rebroadcast on Japanese UHF stations.
