Viz Media announced that Ultimo creators Stan Lee and Hiroyuki Takei will attend the Shonen Jump panel at Comic-Con International. After the panel, both Lee and Takei will sign autographs at the Viz booth. According to Viz, the first 40 customers each day that purchase the latest issue of Shonen Jump from Wednesday through Friday will be given a ticket. The ticket can then be redeemed at the autograph session, to have the issue signed.

Stan Lee is an American comics legend that co-created many Marvel Comics franchises, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. He is the former president of Marvel Comics, and is still an active member of the company today.

Hiroyuki Takei is best known for creating Shaman King. His career began as an assistant to manga creator Nobuhiro Watsuki (Rurouni Kenshin, Buso Renkin). He was nominated for the Osamu Tezuka Award for his manga Doragu Doll Dan. He later won the award with the one-shot manga Itako no Anna.
