The New York Anime Festival announced that they will host the American premiere of Atsuya Uki's Cencoroll. Cencoroll is a 30-minute science fiction anime film that Uki animated himself. The film made its worldwide debut at Canada's Fantasia 2009 on July 28. The film will open in Japan on August 22.

Aniplex will sponsor the film's showing at the New York Anime Festival.

The New York Anime Festival will be held from September 25-27 at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Center.
