The Anime Network announced that they launched their video-on-demand service in the UK. The service offers three tiers of membership, much like its American equivalent.

Currently, non-registered users have access to the first episodes of 21 shows, including Azumanga Daioh and Yugo the Negotiator. Users registered with free accounts are able to access episodes from 39 titles including Mahoromatic and Clannad. Paid account users have access to the entire library of 88 shows, as well as access to shows as they are listed on the service. Paid accounts cost £4.95 per month.

The Anime Network opened its streaming service in America in June, with a similar structure.
