FUNimation recently teamed up with Namco Cybertainment Inc. to release Dragon Ball Z-themed, UFO catcher-like crane machines. The machines will be rolled out in over 780 amusement centers across the United States.

Instead of offering dolls or other crane game fare, players will test their skill to win action figures of characters from the Dragon Ball Z franchise. The figures were designed and manufactured by Banpresto Co., Ltd. and are unavailable for purchase at retailers.

The first series consists of eight collectible characters:

  • Cell
  • Goku
  • Majin Buu
  • Super Saiyan Goku
  • Super Saiyan Gohan
  • Super Saiyan Vegetto
  • Super Saiyan Vegeta
  • Super Saiyan Trunks

Each play costs 50 cents to $1.
