The Nikkei Business Publications ITpro web site reported that Bandai Channel, the Namco Bandai group that handles video distribution, plans to launch a streaming anime service simultaneously in America, Europe, and Asia in early 2010. Bandai Channel began streaming the 43 episodes of the original Mobile Suit Gundam TV series in Japan using Flash technology on July 20th.

At the moment, Bandai Channel is at work on a new video distribution system to allow for centralized content management. It will roll out the system in Japan in October, with launch planned for America, Europe, and Asia in early 2010.
