The Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network announced through a commercial on Saturday that it will air Bleach: Memories of Nobody on September 5th.

While the Bleach TV series focuses on Soul Reapers fighting "Hollow" spirits that seek to prey on humans, Memories of Nobody tells a standalone story introducing previously unseen threatening entities called "Blanks."

Viz Media licensed and released Bleach: Memories of Nobody in theaters and on DVD in North America last year, and the film debuted on Canada's YTV last November. The third Bleach film, Bleach: Fade to Black - Kimi no Na wo Yobu, opened in Japanese theaters last December.
