JPop supergroup JAM Project began offering their anime theme songs on the American iTunes Store on Tuesday. Their initial lineup includes 11 songs from a number of series, including New Getter Robo, Robonimal Panda-Z: The Robonimation, éX-Driver, and the Super Robot Wars series of video games.

Most of the songs are in Japanese, but the group is also offering English versions of No Border and Hero. The songs are also available as iPhone ringtones.

This first foray into the US iTunes Store is the beginning of a North American initiative by the Lantis music label, initially announced at Anime Expo 2009. Bandai Visual and Lantis will offer more songs on September 9th. The companies previously announced plans to offer songs every 2-3 weeks from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, and other anime. The upcoming artist lineup will include Aya Hirano and Ali Project.
