Afro Samurai: Resurrection Bags an Emmy

Afro Samurai: Resurrection, the movie following Takashi Okazaki's TV series, has been awarded the Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation.

The award was given to Art Director Shigemi Ikeda.

FUNimation currently holds the domestic rights to and distributes Afro Samurai on DVD and Blu-Ray.
