Canada's YTV television network revealed that they acquired the remaining 23 episodes of the original Pretty Cure anime series for broadcast. The network began airing the first 26 episodes of the show on March 6.

American production company 4Kids originally licensed the show in 2006, but did not air the series in America. Since 2006, Toei re-licensed the series for digital distribution, and currently offers episodes on both IGN's Direct2Drive service and Crunchyroll.
