Voice actress Chisa Yokoyama announced on Tuesday that she had entered completed legal procedures for marriage. She revealed that her new husband is Chaka, bassist for the rock band Tripolysm. She also noted the eleven-year age gap between the two, with Chaka being the younger. Yokoyama described herself as being "39 years and 10 months" old.

Yokoyama is best known for her performance as Sakura Shinguji, the lead character in the Sakura Wars games and anime series. In addition to her Sakura Wars work, Yokoyama is a prolific voice actress with roles in over 100 anime series. Her more famous roles include Sasami in Tenchi Muyo!, Lucrezia Noin in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and Sana Kurata in the Kodocha OVA.
