Viz announced in a press release today that they plan to release both the Zoids manga and anime. The anime is currently airing on Cartoon Network's Toonami. Through an agreement with Pioneer, Viz will release
both black-and-white, square-bound graphic novels in a special 5" x 7 1/8"
format ($5.95 USA/$9.95 CAN) on a monthly basis, as well as the anime on VHS and DVD through 2002.

Zoids manga release dates will go something like this:

ZOIDS: Chaotic Century, Volume 1 - MARCH 2002
ZOIDS: Chaotic Century, Volume 2 - MARCH 2002
ZOIDS: Chaotic Century, Volume 3 - APRIL 2002
ZOIDS: Chaotic Century, Volume 4 - MAY 2002
ZOIDS: Chaotic Century, Volume 5 - JUNE 2002
ZOIDS: Chaotic Century, Volume 6 - JULY 2002

The anime, which has been licensed from Hasbro and will be distributed through Pioneer, will have the first volume released in April, with the second coming sometime this June. The dubbed VHS will retail for for $14.98 USD, while the DVD will be $19.98 USD.
