Microsoft announced that the Halo Legends anime anthology will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on February 16. The series will hit DVD in both a single-disc standard edition and dual-disc special edition.

The special edition DVD release will include a number of bonus features, including:

• The Making of Halo Legends: a series of behind the scenes features for each episode
• Halo: Gaming Evolved: Traces the series's progession from its start on the XBox to present day
• Audio Commentary from directors Frank O'Connor and Joseph Chou

The Blu-Ray version will contain the special edition's extras, as well as an overview of the Halo franchise, titled Halo: the Story So Far.

The single-disc release of Halo Legends will retail for $19.99, the special edition will cost $29.98, and the Blu-Ray release will be priced at $34.99.
