Anime Boston Announces Third Round of Guests

Anime Boston recently announced their third round of guests. Japanese artist MyM and voice actress Carli Mosier will both attend Anime Boston as Guests of Honor.

MyM is the vocalist and songwriter for the J-rock group GaaGaalinG, as well as a fashion model. Currently, the group consists of four members: MyM, Moto, Cherry, and Jun. The group released two albums as of 2007: Royal Punx and Royal Blood.

Carli Mosier is a Texas native that is best known for her roles in Nerima Daikon Brothers and Magikano. Her most recent role is Daisy in the Homecoming episode of Halo Legends . Anime Boston will be held from April 2 to April 4 at the Hynes Convention Center.

Animazement Announces Guest Lineup

Animazement recently revealed their guest lineup. Manga creator Chiwa Saito, voice actress Chika Sakamoto, voice actors Richard Cox and Spike Spencer, and J-Rock band Uchu Sentai Noiz will all attend the event.

Chiwa Saito is best known for creating Revolutionary Girl Utena. The immensely popular series spawned a 39-episode anime series, as well as a theatrical film.

Chika Sakamoto is a prolific voice actress that performed in a number of notable roles. Her most popular credits include Kentaro Ichinose in Maison Ikkoku, Nuriko in Fushigi Yuugi, and Mei in My Neighbor Totoro.

Spike Spencer is a familiar figure among dub fans. He's provided the voices for Shinji in Evangelion and Hanataro Yamada in Bleach, among other roles.

Richard Cox is best known for providing the English voices for Ranma ½'s Ranma and Inuyasha's titular character.

Uchu Sentai Noiz attended Animazement last year, and recently released a video to announce their return to the event.

Animazement will run from May 28 to May 30 at the Raleigh Convention Center.

FanimeCon To Host LM.C

Fanimecon announced that LM.C will perform at the event. LM.C provided two theme songs for the Katekayo Hitman Reborn! anime series, and two ending themes for Red Garden. The group will perform the evening of Sunday, May 30. The duo will appear at a question-and-answer panel and an autograph signing the next day.

FanimeCon will be held at the San Jose Convention Center from May 28 to May 31.

Nabeshin To Attend Anime Expo

Anime Expo announced that Shinichi "Nabeshin" Watanabe would attend the event as a guest of honor. Nabeshin is one of the best-known anime directors,and most identifiable with his signature afro and red blazer. Watanabe directed several popular anime series, including Excel Saga and The Wallflower. In addition to his directorial roles, Watanabe provided the voice for his Nabeshin character in several anime series. More notable titles include Excel Saga, Hayate the Combat Butler, and Puni Puni Poemy.

Anime Expo will be held from July 1 through July 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
