Adult Swim's online schedule currently lists the American television premiere of Kekkaishi on May 29. The first episode is slated to air at 12:30AM, following an episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Viz Media announced that theya cquired the domestic rights to the series at last year's Comic-Con. However, the company declined to reveal their plans for a western release. The company has distributed the Kekkaishi manga since 2005. Currently, 20 volumes are available, with volume 21 hitting stores on May 11.
