Go! Comi allowed its website domain to expire on May 8th. Former Go! Comi Creative Director Audry Taylor stated that she is no longer working at the company. By retail records, the last Go! Comi-published manga volume shipped back in October 2009. The Go! Comi website user forums shut down in April.

Go! Comi's Twitter account was also deleted in recent months, and a Google cache confirmed that their last tweet was on February 1st.

The site administrator posted an apology on the Go! Comi forum in response to the company's delays last January, explaining that the company was under much duress "due to a combination of economic downturn and digital theft." The post stated that Go! Comi might have to scale back on its online presence or shut it down entirely until the end of the economic downturn.

Go! Comi CEO David Wise has yet to comment on the situation.
