Sentai Filmworks announced that they acquired the domestic rights to High School of the Dead. While they did not specify a release date, Sentai revealed that the show will be dubbed when it hits stores.

The Anime Network announced that they will be the exclusive host for the simulcast of the show, The first episode will hit The Anime Network on Monday, July 5 at 12:00AM CDT (1:00AM EDT). New episodes will then be added every Sunday at 10:00PM CDT (11:00PM EDT). The first episode of the simulcast will be available to users registered with free accounts.
