FUNimation announced that they will launch an anime-centric social media and video hub in a redesign of the company's website. The new site will offer two tiers of membership: Standard and Elite. Both tiers will be able to post comments and reviews on content and host cosplay and fan-art galleries, among other features. Elite members will gain access to high-quaity, English-dubbed episodes before they are available to the others. Sign-ups for beta testing will begin shortly. The service will officially launch in October.

In addition to the social media network, FUNimation revealed that they will release a line of anime-branded prepaid Visa cards. The cards will be available in August and will feature images from numerous anime titles, including Afro Samurai: Resurrection, Fruits Basket, Sgt. Frog, Soul Eater and Tsubasa.
