Yesterday, Bandai Entertainment announced that Mr. Shoji Kawamori, creator of Macross, The Vision of Escaflowne, Macross Plus, and Arjuna, will be attending this year’s Anime Expo. Anime Expo is an anime convention held in Long Beach, California from July 4th-7th.

This will be a fan’s chance for those going to the con to see Mr. Kawamori in person. On the July 5th, he is scheduled to hold an autograph session at 3PM at the Bandai Entertainment Exhibit Booth. But, the fun doesn’t end there, kiddos. The ride has just begun, because Mr. Kawamori will be holding a limited seating focus panel on his new series, Arjuna. He will be providing a live commentary to the first episode, as well as discussing his contribution to the Arjuna project.

Bandai is not ending the fun at the con though; they plan on giving you a nice treat to take home! That’s right; Bandai will be distributing an Arjuna promotional DVD, complete with the first episode.

Bandai has slated the release date of the Arjuna: Rebirth DVD for 10/08/2002, with a retail price of $29.98.
