Kodansha announced that they will take over publishing duties for manga titles currently held by Del Rey Manga. The process will be a gradual change, as Random House will continue to distribute Kodansha USA's titles. Publication duties will be carried out by the company's Random House Publishing Services (RHPS) division. Dallas Middaugh, associate publisher for Del Rey, will transfer to RHPS to aid in the transition.

Currently, Del Rey holds the rights to numerous Kodansha titles that were not completely published, including xxxHOLiC, Fairy Tail, and Negima.
