Excel Saga - Matt Greenfield, ADR director, posted a formal letter that told fans that Jessica Calvello would not be finishing her run as the voice actress of the character Excel. Jessica has admitted through an interview that the extreme stress on her vocal chords has played a major role in her departure. However, fans should not fret. The remaining cast members will stay, while a recasting will be done to fill the void left by Jessica.

Transformers - Comic fans will notice that the Transformers comics are burning up the sales chart. The creative folks over at Dreamwave Production are releasing two new issues this month! Transformers: Armada #1 is a new ongoing series that comes out on the tenth. The comic is very similar to Marvel’s Ultimate line; in other words, you’ll get to see all your favorite characters given an updated and exciting look, but everything will be set in an alternative timeline. Transformers: Generation One #4 comes out on the 17th.

In other news, ADV is releasing the DVD of the classic erotic horror story of Kimera on September 10th. It will retail for a price of $19.98.
