Hakuhodo & Kenji Kamiyama Start Anime Consulting Firm

Hakuhodo DY Holdings and director Kenji Kamiyama (Eden of the East, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) recently established a new consulting firm. The firm, known as Steve N' Steven, will aid in the planning and production of animation in advertising and other areas. The company currently holds 30 million yen ($353,640) in capital. Hakuhodo DY Holdings has a 51% stake in the company, Hakuhodo DY Media Partner has 32%, and Kamiyama has 10%.

Hakuhodo's Shoichi Furutua will serve as the company's representative director and president, while Kamiyama will be a representative director. The two will share the role of chief executive officer. Eden of the East producer Tomohiko Ishii will serve as the company's director and producer.

The company aims to fill 10 to 15 orders per year, and already has several orders from clients.
