Aniplex announced that an anime adaptation of the Persona 4 video game is in production. Seiji Kishi(My Bride is a Mermaid, Yugo the Negotiator ) will direct the series at AIC ASTA. Franchise creators Kazuma Kaneko and Shigenori Soejima are credited with Persona concept designs and original character designs, respectively. Persona 3 & 4 composer Shoji Meguro will handle the show's soundtrack.

The series will feature the cast from the original game, and includes the following actors

• Yu Narukami - Daisuke Namikawa (Black Lagoon, Freedom)
• Yosuke Hanamura - Showtaro Morikubo (The Wallflower, Ikki Tousen)
• Chie Satonaka - Yui Horie (Fairy Tail, School Rumble)
• Yukiko Amagi - Ami Koshimizu (My-Otome, Strike Witches)
