Eleven Arts announced that they will partner with FUNimation to release Trigun: Badlands Rumble in theaters. FUNimation confirmed the announcement, and added that certain theaters will show the dubbed version of the film, while others will present the film with Japanese audio.

While a concrete schedule was not announced, Eleven Arts revealed that they will run the film this summer. A full schedule will be added to FUNimation's Trigun website in the near future.
