FanimeCon to Host Haruko Momoi, Hiroyuki Yamaga

FanimeCon announced that they will host Gainax co-founder Hiroyuki Yamaga and singer Haruko Momoi as Guests of Honor. Yamaga is a regular attendee at the event, with this year marking his fourteenth consecutive appearance. He wrote and directed Wings of Honneamise, and continues to be involved in nearly every anime title the studio produces. His resume includes a number of popular and influential titles, including Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mahoromatic - Automatic Maiden and Gurren Lagann.

Momoi provided voices for over thirty anime titles, including Ai Yori Aoshi, My Bride is a Mermaid, and Tales of the Abyss. She also provided music for numerous anime shows, including Kujibiki Unbalance, DearS, and School Days, both as part of Under17, and on her own. This year will mark her third consecutive appearance at the convention.

FanimeCon wil be held from May 27 - May 30 in San Jose, California.
