FanimeCon announced that X Japan founder Yoshiki will attend the event as a guest of honor. Yoshiki will attend the event for a few hours on May 28, to take part in a panel and an autograph session.

In addition to Yoshiki, the convention will host Yuya Matsushita, Ryusuke Hamamoto, Takahiro Yoshimtsu, and Seiji Mizushima, among other guests. The convention will be held from May 27 through May 30 at the San Jose Convention Center.
