Discotek announced that they acquired the domestic rights to the Demon City Shinjuku anime. While the company did not announce a release date, they did reveal that the title will be remastered for its re-release.

Demon City Shinjuku was an OVA released in 1998. It was directed by Ninja Scroll director Yoshiaki Kawajiri and animated by Madhouse. The title was originally released in the west by Central Park Media.
