Anime Expo announced that creators Tetsuro Araki, Masayoshi Tanaka, and Kentaro Hashimoto from Madhouse Studios will attend the event as guests of honor. The three most recently contributed to High School of the Dead, with Araki being the director, Tanaka the chief animation director and character designer, and Hashimoto the animation producer.

At the event, the trio will be present for a July 2 screening of High School of the Dead, and they will host a creator's panel.
