FUNimation announced tahat they acquired the domestic rights to the Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam (Fam, the Silver Wing) anime. The company acquired both streaming and home video rights to the series.

Gonzo originally announced that the show would be in production in February. Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam will make its world premiere at Anime Expo, which will be attended by series director Koichi Chigira, character designer Makoto Kobayashi, script writer Takaaki Suzuki, and producer Hiroyuki Birukawa.
