Beginning September 14, Fox is letting 4Kids Entertainment (Pokémon, YU-GI-OH!) do a complete overhaul of its Saturday morning lineup. Fox's Saturday mornings will be known as Fox Box! Fox will provide a heavy marketing campaign to get the attention of kids everywhere. In the two weeks leading up to the launch, Toys "R" Us will distribute actual "Fox Box" to a million kids. The "Fox Box" will feature video sneak peeks and a CD filled with games. Fox is also launching a new website this fall to offer kids a place to check for games, movies, contests, and much more. Keep an eye on this web address this fall.

8:00-8:30AM: Stargate Infinity

The creators of Captain Planet and Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? brings you action and education wrapped in the form of Stargate Infinity! Based on the successful movie and tv series, Stargate, the animated show will follow Stargate Command's adventure in protecting the mysterious creature Draga from a sinister alien race.

8:30-9:00AM: Ultraman Tiga

Fox Box brings one of the most popular Japanese heros overseas. Ultraman and his friends over at the Global Unlimited Task Squad (GUTS) defend Earth from all sorts of mega-powerful monsters in the year 2049.

9:00-9:30AM: Kirby

Nintendo's pink and round videogame superstar is being unleashed on television! The self-titled show starts with the mysterious origin of Kirby. Kirby arrives in Dream Land in a spacecraft and is instantly heralded as the legendary hero. Kirby uses his unique copy ability to take on opponents attack to help thwart a evil plan working its way through King Dedede.

10:30-11:00AM: Ultimate Muscle

Ultimate Muscle is a show made for wrestling fans. Earth is threatened by a group of muscular aliens with sinister plans. The poweful but cowardly Kinnikuman must respond to this force by competing against hundreds of diverse and super-strong wrestlers in the most galactic wrestling tournament!

Another dose of Ultraman action! Ultraman Tiga will occupy this slot through quarter four of 2002. After that...

10:00-10:30AM: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Starting in the first quarter of 2003,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is making a big return! Many fans of this late 80's and early 90's phenomenon can expect a whole new spin on the humorous and action-packed original. Normal pet turtles are accidentally mutated by a mysterious green ooze. They are trained by their sensei, Splinter, to become mean green fighting machines! The Turtles are ready to protect New York City from Shredder and his allies. "In reintroducing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I am pleased to say that 4Kids will be going back to its comic book roots," said Peter Laird, co-creator of the Turtles. "We anticipate that the new Ninja Turtles series will contain the same irreverent contemporary humor and compelling action sequences that the Turtles are famous for, updated for the 21st century."
