FUNimation announced that they acquired the domestic rights to the Sora no Otoshimono: Tokei-jikake no Angeloid (Heaven’s Lost Property the Movie: The Angeloid of Clockwork) anime film. The company declined to reveal a specific release date or format for the title, though they did confirm that it will hit next year.

Tokei-jikake no Angeloid is a continuation of the first two Sora no Otoshimono TV series, which adapts Suu Minazuki's comedy manga of the same title. The film was directed by Hisashi Saito, featured character designs by Yoshihiro Watanabe, and script supervision by Yuuko Kakihara, all of whom previously worked on the two TV shows.

Kadokawa Pictures described the film as "this summer's #1 date movie for 'ria-ju.'" Ria-ju is a slang term for people who are not otaku, and instead prefer reality.
