Anime News Network reports that Takeshi Koike's Redline anime film won the Fantasia Festival's Audience Award for Best Animated Film. Studio Pierrot's Legend of the Millennium Dragon was also screened, though it did not win any awards.

The 15th Fantasia Festival was held in Montreal from July 14 to August 7. This year's event attracted over 100,000 attendees.
