Anime News Network reports that film distributor GKids will distribute several of Studio Ghibli's films. GKids signed an agreement with Ghibli to distribute 13 of the studio' films, which cover works produced between 1984 and 2002. The full list includes the following:

• Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
• Laputa: Castle in the Sky
• My Neighbor Totoro
• Kiki's Delivery Service
• Only Yesterday
• Porco Rosso
• Umi Ga Kikoeru
• Pom Poko
• Whisper of the Heart
• Princess Mononoke
• My Neighbors the Yamadas
• The Cat Returns
• Spirited Away

GKids will begin screening the films at this year's New York Film Festival, with anniversary showings of Spirited Away and Laputa. New York's IFC Center will hold a retrospective of Ghibli's films from December 16 through January 12, and GKids plans to screen the titles in limited theaters across America beginning in 2012.
