Sentai, The Anime Network Acquire Towanoquon

Sentai Filmworks and The Anime Network announced that they acquired the domestic rights to the Towanoquon series of anime films. Towanoquon is a sextet of science-fiction flicks set in a futuristic version of Tokyo. In this world, a new breed of human, known as Attractors begin to awaken to incredible powers. They quickly find themselves hunted by an organization known as Custos. Quon, an Attractor, takes the lead of the group's efforts to survive in hopes that he will be able to save as many of his kind as possible.

Towanoquon was directe by Umanosuke Iida (Hellsing, Mobile Suit Gundam MS 08 Team), and features character designs by Toshihiro Kawaomoto (Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain). The films feature animation by BONES and soundtracks by Kenji Kawai (Patlabor, The Sky Crawlers). The first Towanoquon film will begin running on The Anime Network on October 13, with a new feature being added every two weeks. The films will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD next year.
