Sentai Filmworks announced that they acquired the domestic rights to the Broken Blade anime films. The Anime Network will begin streaming the six-part film series this month, while Sentai will release the titles on DVD and Blu-Ray next year.

Broken Blade was directed by Tetsuro Amino (Macross 7) and Nobuyoshi Habara (Fafner). The title's script was written by Masashi Sogo (Gantz, Fairy Tail), and the animation was handled by Xebec.
