Saboten Con announced that they will host game composer Akira Yamaoka at this year's event. Yamaoka is known for his work on the Silent Hill series of games, as well as his role as producer for the series beginning with Silent Hill 3. Aside from Silent Hill, Yamaoka composed the soundtracks for a number of games, including Snatcher and Shadows of the Damned.

Yamaoka will join voice actress and singer Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who sang many of the vocal themes in the series, as well as Troy Baker and Phil LaMarr. The event will be held from September 1 through 3 in Glendale, Arizona.
