Sentai Filmworks announced that they acquired the domestic rights to The Book of Bantorra. The company plans to release the show through digital outlets in the near future, followed by a bilingual DVD release later this year.

The Book of Bantorra is based on the light novel series of the same name by Ishio Yamagata. The series was directed by Toshiya Shinohara (Black Butler), and features character designs by Masaki Yamada (Tiger & Bunny, Appleseed Ex Machina). The show's music was produced by Yoshihisa Hirano (Death Note, Broken Blade).
