FUNimation announced that they will launch a dedicated mobile app for FUNimation.com in late March. The app will allow users to view content from FUNimation's web platform on their mobile devices. The app will be available in a free, ad-supported format, as well as a paid app. The free app will be limited to certain promotional episodes, clips, and trailers while the paid version will have access to full shows. Users will be able to use their Elite Video Service memberships to gain access to subscription content.

Currently, the app is confirmed for Android devices. Its availability on iOS and other operating systems was not able to be confirmed as of press time.
