ADV Films acquired the rights to distribute Sanrio Company’s Hello Kitty’s Paradise on DVD and VHS.

“Hello Kitty’s Paradise is a standout example of the type of spirited, high-quality content that is synonymous with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty brand,” said ADV President, CEO and Founder John Ledford. “We’re very pleased to be able to bring Hello Kitty’s Paradise to the home video market, and expect that this title will create many thousands of new Hello Kitty fans.”

Hello Kitty’s Paradise is an educational show that follows the childhood adventures of Hello Kitty, Mimi, and their friends in school. ADV Films plan to make the DVDs child-friendly; there will be no menu navigation required, just simple plug and play. ADV Films is anticipating a 2002 fourth quarter release for the 16 half-hour shows.
