Central Park Media is giving away assorted manga to schools to get kids to read. It all began with a Ohio high school English teacher, Teri Poulos, who was considering following a growing national trend and including graphic novels as part of her arsenal in the battle to get kids interested in reading. After contacting CPM, they glady sent her and many other teachers stacks of manga, to help them out (everything from "Dark Angel" to "M.D. Geist"). So much in fact that some of the books will be heading off to the public library in Cambridge, Ohio, who is also interested in securing manga for the same purpose.
