Otakon may be over, but the last of the news is finally trickling through the pipeline, thanks to Anime on DVD.

ADV FILMS - ADV had a small, but interesting showing this year with the announcement of three video series and several manga. On the video side, ADV announced its acquisition of Divergence Eve, Cyber Team in Akihibara, and the live-action Shinobi movie. For their manga line, ADV announced that it has acquired Chrono Crusade, Kagura, Your and My Secret, Rise R^2, Desert Quarrel, Louie the Rune Soldier, and Blue Inferior.

For miscellenious news, Newtype has reached a circulation of over 100,000. ADV has also confirmed that the Slayers movies are being delayed due to a license changeover. When asked about St. Seiya, ADV confirmed that they would be releasing the series as long as it will sell. Mazinkaiser will be released in its entirety.

PIONEER - Pioneer didn't have any new titles to announce, but they did say they will be putting the Harlock OVAs out in 2004. Furthermore, Pioneer is trying to bring the price down on the Fushigi Yuugi sets. Mao-Chan's first disc will contain 7 15-minute episodes, and Last Exile will be seven discs, at four episodes per disc. Mahoromatic will not see a boxed release, but the four-disc L/R will with the box being bundled with disc 1. Read or Die TV will be 26 episodes.
