While Media Blasters has previously stated that Del Rey would be publishing the Twelve Kingdoms novel series, Del Rey seems to have other plans. According to an official statement by Del Rey, they do not have the license to the Twelve Kingdoms novels, but they are considering a possible translation in the future.

Hirameki International (creators of Phantom of Inferno) have entered the DVD market with two titles. Idol Fighter Su-Chi-Pai and Soar High! Isami are both slated to launch the company's anime career by the fourth quarter of 2003.

Urban Vision and Best Buy are teaming together to release an extra-special version of the first Ninja Scroll television series DVD. The DVD, entitled "Dragon Stone" will be bundled with an extra CD-ROM that's filled with extra features. This promotion will receive a limited print run, as Urban Vision has already put a "While supplies last" tag on this feature.
