Not even a week after the Big Apple Anime Fest, Central Park has announced that they have acquired the rights to the award-winning Korean animated feature, Doggy Poo.

Doggy Poo revolves around a piece of dog waste that is aptly named "Doggy Poo". He has few friends and is quite lonely until he finds out what it means to be a "poo". This seemingly useless piece of excrement finds its own self worth when it sacrifices itself to help a flower bloom.

As an educational story made to entertain people of all ages, Doggy Poo has won the "Best Pilot Prize" at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2003, and was chosen for a "Best Pilot for Domestic and International Market" by the Korean Culture and Contents Agency. A release date still has yet to be announced, as do pricing and format details.
