Photon Sees A Second Chance in Japan as Oshii and TOKYOPOP Hit the Release Charts

TOKYOPOP has announced that they have the rights to five new manga series. TOKYOPOP has confirmed that they have the rights to Arm of Kannon, Battle Vixens, The The Demon Ororon, Crescent Moon, Lament of the Lamb, Model, and Genso Suikoden (Suikoden). The first volumes of The Demon Ororon and Battle Vixens will both see and April 6, 2004 release,while Arm of Kannon, Crescent Moon, Lament of the Lamb, Model, and Suikoden see a slightly later release of May 11, 2004.

Bandai has posted the latest trailer for the Mamoru Oshii Cinema Trilogy on their multimedia site. The trilogy itself will contain three of Oshii's famous films: Talking Head, Stray Dog, and Red Spectacles.

As of November 13, AIC's Photon and Bang Zoom! Entertainment's Jungle de Ikou have been added to the lineup of Animate TV. Animate TV is a web-based, on-demand video streaming service.
