At Anime Central (ACen) this weekend, ADV films announced that they have acquired the rights to several new titles. ADV announced that they will be releasing the Peacemaker Kurogane anime series, Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu?, and the original, uncut version of Gatchaman. ADV's representative also hinted at possible domestic rights to Chojushin Gravion Zwei. Gatchaman will be relased from the beginning in bilingual format. However, they will be showing the edited "G-Force" on the Anime Network. ADV could again neither confirm nor deny any information related to Super GALS! episodes 27-52. However, ADV could confirm details on the RaXephon movie limited release. The limited edition of the film will incluse the 54-page booklet that came with the Japanese collector's edition DVD as well as a sturdy chipboard box to hold both the television series and movie.

ADV toys announced that they will be releasing 5-inch and 10-inch Menchi (from Excel Saga) plush dolls.

ADV Films launched their Kaleido Star recently launched their Kaleido Star website. The site includes series information, as well as downloadable extras.

Geneon announced that they will be releasing Burn Up! Scramble, Masou Kishin Psybuster, Saiyuki Reload, and Shingetsutan Tsukihime. Due to reasons beyond their control, Geneon will be using a different dub cast for Saiyuki Reload than the actors who played under the ADV label.

Manga Entertainment's fate is no longer in limbo as their new owners have finally been announced. IDT Entertainment announced that they have purchased Manga from Palm over the weekend. Now that their fate is once again known, Manga will likely start bidding on new series again. Manga is known for their western releases of Ghost in the Shell and Perfect Blue, among several other titles.

Central Park Media has announced that they will be starting a yaoi line. The Be Beautiful line will debut on August 25 with two titles: You Asagiri's Golden Coin and Kazuma Kodaka's Kizuna: Bonds of Love Volume 1. Both books will have a retail price of $15.99 and are recommended for audiences in the age group of 18 and older.

FUNimation has opened their Fullmetal Alchemist website. The site currently contains two trailers for the series' American television run.
