Production I.G. has announced that they will be releasing a new anime series. The new series, Otogizoushi, will be a samurai series set in the Heian Period. The show is set to premiere this July.

Media Blasters has announced several new titles. Urda, Early Reins, Sentimental Journey TV, and Kite (which will supposedly be completely uncut this time) will all be joining the Media Blasters lineup this September.

While it has not formally been announced, Geneon has placed a trailer for the unannounced series Submarine 707R on the sixth volume of Heat Guy J.

TOKYOPOP has announced that they have enlisted Rene M. Garcia as their vice president of film and television. Garcia is an experienced member of the film community, and was previously the President of Production for Craven-Maddalena.
