Anime Expo Announcements: Friday and Saturday
TOKYOPOP has announced that they will be releasing CLAMP no Kiseki: the Ultimate Collection. This title is CLAMP's fifteenth anniversary work, and will feature interviews, behind the scenes photos, and exclusive manga pieces and color art. The feature will be available in 12 limited-edition volumes. Each one of these volumes will also come with a chess piece, just as the Japanese release did. The first volume is set to be released in Spring 2005.
Media Blasters has informally announced that they have obtained the rights to Midori no Hibi and Otogizoushi. no other details have been offered yet.
Geneon has announced that they have the acquired the rights to Popotan, Submarine 707R, and The Daichis for DVD release.
According to Anime on DVD, Bang Zoom slipped and stated that Crispin Freeman will be directing Scrapped Princess. However, they managed to catch themselves before they said which company would be releasing the series.
Super Techno Arts informally announced that they will be releasing Shadow, via their dealer's room booth.
AN Entertainment has announced that they have acquired the rights to Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu and Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu Deluxe. The twenty-six TV episode and six-OVA series will be released in North America under the title Hare Guu starting in 2005.
Central Park Media announced several additions to their Manwha lineup. Hard Boiled Angel, Armageddon, Mythology of the Heavens, Nambul: War Stories, Couple, Full House, Yongri the Invincible, and Duck Prince will all be joining Central Park's manwha releases. On the manga market, Central Park will be releasing Angel Shop, Kung-Fu Jungle Boy, Masca, and Princess.
ADV has had the largest showing of the convention so far. The company has announced the following titles:
